About us

Redundancy support built on real UK hiring experience.

ConnectAgain exists because losing a role is common and the support around it usually isn't good enough. We combine career strategy, practical skills and wellbeing into one structured comeback programme for the UK job market.

Our story

Why we started ConnectAgain: better redundancy support

Redundancy and career disruption hit capable people constantly, and the standard response is a CV template and a generic webinar. ConnectAgain was created to give people a proper plan: sequenced, measurable and supported by others going through the same thing.

We are a UK-based platform in build. The team page, advisory details and outcome data will be published here as they are confirmed — we would rather label a placeholder than invent credibility.

What we believe

Our principles for UK redundancy support

Human first
A comeback is emotional before it is tactical. We start where people actually are.
Practical always
Every session, challenge and tool produces something usable.
Honest about evidence
We publish outcomes when we have them, and label placeholders until then.
Built for the UK market
UK hiring norms, UK recruiters, UK employment context.

About Kevin

A few words from Kevin

After two experiences of being made redundant, I felt true support for individuals is missing — no emails, no meetings, fewer contacts, and that doesn't sit right. A new kind of support was needed, so I created ConnectAgain to support people, build a real community, and give everyone a chance to reskill and raise their confidence.

ConnectAgain Vision Statement

To create a world where no one faces career change alone, connecting people with confidence, community, purpose and new opportunities.

From the founder

Two decades of UK hiring, from both sides of the table

“I have sat on both sides of the table — leading teams at executive level, and being the person whose role disappeared overnight. ConnectAgain is the support I wish had existed on that first Monday morning.”

I spent over two decades in senior and executive-level roles across UK businesses, with responsibility for building, developing and — during restructures — having to let go of very capable people. I saw first hand how quickly confidence drains away when a career is interrupted, and how little genuine support most people receive beyond a CV template and a phone number for an outplacement helpline.

I also experienced it myself. Redundancy does not just take your income; it takes your routine, your network and your sense of value. What brought me back was structure, honest feedback and a small group of people who understood exactly what I was going through. That combination is what ConnectAgain is built around.

Everything on this platform comes from real hiring experience: what recruiters actually shortlist, how executive and mid-level interviews are really decided, and how to rebuild momentum week by week rather than waiting for luck. My commitment is simple — practical guidance, no false promises, and a community where nobody has to do their comeback alone.
